You can add or remove payment methods directly in the Ivy app at any time. Keeping your payment information up to date ensures a seamless charging experience.

How to add a payment method.
- Open the Ivy app.
- Log in to your account.
- Tap Account in the bottom navigation menu.
- Select Payment methods.
- Tap Add payment method.
- Enter your credit card details or follow the prompts to add a supported payment option.
- Tap Save.
Your new payment method will now be available for future charging sessions.
How to remove a payment method.
To remove an existing payment method:
- Open the Ivy app.
- Tap Account.
- Select Payment methods.
- Choose the card you want to remove.
- Tap Remove or Delete.
- Confirm your selection.
⚠️ You must have at least one valid payment method saved to start a charging session.
Pre-authorization details.
When starting a charging session, a temporary pre-authorization hold is applied:
- $50 for standard credit card payments
- $75 when using Apple pay
This pre-authorization ensures sufficient funds for the session. After your charging session is complete, any unused portion is automatically refunded.
If your session cost exceeds the pre-authorized amount, the remaining balance will be charged separately.
