If you have an Ivy Home Smart EV charger, this article walks you through installing your charger, connecting it to the Ivy mobile app, and starting a home charging session.

For a seamless charger setup, review the user manual and installation guide before getting started. The manual is available in English and French:
Pair your charger with the Ivy app.
Once your charger is installed, connect it to the Ivy mobile app to activate smart features like session monitoring and scheduling.
- Download and sign up for the Ivy mobile app.
- Tap My Charger, then follow the steps to add your charger.
- When prompted, select Ivy Home powered by Grizzl-E as the Manufacturer and Ivy Home Smart Charger (Black or White) as the Model. Tap Next.
- Exit the app and open your phone's Wi-Fi settings.
- Connect to the network named UC_Smart_Charger followed by your charger's serial number.
- Return to the Ivy mobile app. The app will verify your connection to the charger.
- Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list, enter your Wi-Fi password, and tap Next.
- Wait for the app to connect and register your charger. Keep the app open and in the foreground throughout this process.
Once complete, your charger will be linked to your app and ready to use.

Start a home charging session.
Once your charger is paired, starting a session is simple:
- Plug the charging cable into your vehicle.
- Open the Ivy mobile app and tap My Charger.
- Tap Start session to begin charging.
Your charger's LED indicator will confirm that charging is underway. You can monitor your session at any time through the app.
Set up a charging schedule.
The smart charging schedule feature lets you set specific times for your EV to charge — useful for taking advantage of off-peak electricity rates overnight.
- Open the Ivy mobile app and tap My Charger.
- Under Charging schedule, tap Schedule.
- When prompted, confirm that the charging schedule in your vehicle is turned off — your car's built-in schedule must be disabled for the in-app schedule to work. Tap Got it.
- Tap Schedule and set your preferred charging times.
Once saved, your charger will automatically start and stop according to your schedule.
Warranty information.
Ivy Home Smart Chargers come with a 3-year limited hardware warranty. If you purchased an installation package through Ivy, you also benefit from a 3-year limited installation warranty.
- If you purchased your Ivy Home charger with installation through Ivy, your warranty is automatically activated — no further action is required.
- If you purchased the charger only, you may need to register to ensure warranty coverage.
